About Us

The purpose of the club was then (at its inception in 1972), as it is today, to encourage the instruction, practice, and advancement of our members in the discipline of figure skating, free skating, and ice dancing as well as cultivating a spirit of camaraderie among ice skaters.

Alexandria Bay Figure Skating Club is a small skating club located in Alexandria Bay, NY. We offer USFS Learn to Skate as well as the synchronized skating and Jr. Sr. level programs.

Our skaters compete locally year 'round, at Lake Placid, and go to states during the summer. Our figure skaters work very hard to be the best, and our metals show it.

We start our skaters off young. As young as 3 years old in our learn-to-skate program. We have private instructors, a Christmas Show, Winter Carnaval show, and a Spring ice show to ensure skaters at all levels can participate and get show practice on the ice to help competition jitters.

We may be small, but we are a great group of skaters! It is through a dedicated Board of Directors, professional skating staff and many dedicated parents that keep our club running smoothly!
